Bargain hunters lift US stocks

Bargain hunting in technology lifted the US stock market moderately higher yesterday.

The Dow Jones finished up 50.16, or 0.5%, at 10,035.34, while the Nasdaq gained 27.27, or 1.4%, to close at 1,945.81.
