2,000 jobs may be lost at Aer Lingus according to report
There are reports emerging this morning that the national airline, Aer Lingus,
may be forced to shed up to 2,000 jobs in order to ensure that it survives the current international crisis in the aviation industry.
The permanent positions would be in addition to the 600 temporary employees that were already let go by the air carrier.
A new report has been prepared for the Minister for Public Enterprise that shows the bleak situation at the airline.
