Poll backs tax deal for offshore account holders
47% of voters have given their approval to the Exchequer’s recent deal giving holders of non-resident bank accounts six months to regularise their affairs.
The latest MRBI poll published this morning also indicates that 44% do not agree with the Revenue deal, while 9% have no opinion.
The same survey indicates that 56% of respondents believe that an investigation should be conducted into the 1970 Arms Trial.
21% want the inquiry to examine the disclosure that witnesses’ statements were allegedly altered.
