Standard Life Ireland posts record sales of €1.36bn

Standard Life Ireland has reported record annual sales of €1.36 billion for 2015 with demand for pension products and underlying investment growth boosting performance.

The sales figure represents a 20% annualised jump and assets under management increased by the same percentage to €9bn.

The strongest contributors to retail sales growth were approved retirement fund pensions (or DIY pensions) which increased 27% and executive pension plan (EPPs) sales which rose by 41%.
