Kelsius to provide tech for retailers

Kelsius – a food monitoring technology firm – said it has completed a contract to install its new and “unique” FoodCheck technology systems in SuperValu and Centra stores.

The €2m annual deal involves cloud- based technology that replaces paper-based monitoring that the retail industry has used in the past. Kelsius said the systems save time and money by sending text alerts to supervisors and managers.

Executive chairman Eamonn Quinn said: “Our technology enables food retailers replace existing paper-based check systems and save time and money whilst implementing the best solution for food-chain management.

“The recorded information is available immediately as it is needed and reduces the possibility of human error in the recording of data as well as providing precise data for management.”
