Increased traffic in Irish airspace
The busiest day was June 19 when some 1,975 flights were recorded in the skies above Ireland.
The IAA said flights in the North Atlantic Communications area, which covers flights between Europe and North America, recorded an increase of 3.8% to 42,045 flights in June.
International commercial terminal traffic at Shannon, Dublin and Cork airports increased 10.8% in June from a year earlier, the IAA said.
