Jordan’s Byzantium, released in May of last year, starred Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton.

Latest figures lodged with the Companies’ Office show the cash pile at Jordan’s firm, Sunwind Enterprises Ltd, increased from €2.39m to €2.58m in the 12 months to the end of December 2013. Accumulated profits at the firm rose marginally from €1.879m to €1.889m.

The figures show that the firm owed €788,930 to creditors, with the largest proportion owed to Jordan and his wife Brenda, who also sits on the board of the firm.

Jordan’s coffers have also been boosted recently by him overseeing the historical fiction drama, The Borgias.

Jordan shot three series of the drama, starring Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, focusing on the fortunes of the 16th century Italian family, but US cable network Showtime cancelled a planned fourth instalment.
