Engineering services group Kentz set ‘to exceed expectations’ in 2014

Irish-founded engineering services group, Kentz has, even at this early stage, said it expects its full-year performance in 2014 to exceed expectations on the back of current trading levels and “business-winning opportunities” further increasing confidence amongst management.

Yesterday, the company — which provides infrastructural support services for the exploration sector — reported strong 2013 annual results; highlighting what group chief executive, Christian Brown, called “another period of major success”.

Figures showed a 6% increase in group revenue to $1.66 billion (€1.2bn); a 12.6% rise in pre-tax profit to $118 million; diluted earnings per share growth of 17.3% to 68.07c and a gross cash balance of $246.5m; up by over 7% on the previous year.
