Irish-founded engineering services group, Kentz has, even at this early stage, said it expects its full-year performance in 2014 to exceed expectations on the back of current trading levels and “business-winning opportunities” further increasing confidence amongst management.

Kentz has won a $38m (€27.3m) engineering contract in Venezuela — via its US-based oil and gas handling subsidiary, Valerus — representing the group’s fourth significant international contract win inside the past month.

Kentz — the Irish-founded engineering services group — closed 2013 with a pipeline of outstanding work projects, worth $15.6bn (€11.4bn); up 18% on the previous year.

Irish-headquartered construction and engineering firm Kentz, has taken over a US-based Valerus Field Solutions for $435m (€316m) in what is a major expansion for the company.
