Limerick-based environmental software and technology developer AMCS Group has bought a US software company, PC Scale Technologies.

The company is based in Pennsylvania, making AMCS Group a global player in recycling technology.

AMCS wasted no time in snapping up PC Scale Tech, having just finished a €23.5m investment round by Highland Capital Partners Europe and Investec Ventures through the Ulster Bank Diageo Fund.
