Four Irish companies have been named among Europe’s fastest growing technology businesses in a notably strong showing for Ireland relative to the country’s size.

Limerick-based specialist software company AMCS Group has agreed an €8.25 million financing facility with niche lender, Silicon Valley Bank, with the funds set to be used for acquisition-led growth.

Limerick-based environmental software and technology developer AMCS Group has bought a US software company, PC Scale Technologies.

Two Irish tech companies announced major developments, with PCH International making an acquisition while Limerick’s AMCS Group secured a €23.5m round of financing.
