Dublin rent rates outpace those outside the capital

Rents in Dublin continue to outpace areas outside the capital, according to the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) third-quarter index.

New renters in Dublin saw the cost of accommodation increase by 6.4%, compared to the same period last year and up 2% on prices for April, May and June.

Elsewhere, there was a decline of 0.2% compared to the same quarter last year.
