Port becomes first to offer wifi service to visiting crews

The SeaFi Horizon wifi service will enable vessels to use the internet via their onboard sat-coms from up to 12km off Roche’s Point, at the Ringaskiddy Deepwater Berth, at the Cobh Cruise Terminal, and along the entire 24km navigable distance to the Tivoli Container Terminal.

The service has been tested over the last six months onboard Port of Cork-owned vessels the MV Denis Murphy and the MV Gerry O’Sullivan.
