Courts award €44m in orders on unpaid debts

Courts awarded €44m to banks, the Revenue Commissioners, credit unions and professional services companies who sought orders on unpaid debts last month.

The figures produced by Vision-net show more than half of the orders by value have been made to enforce personal debts.

In total banks and other creditors secured orders valued at €23mn against personal debts owed in March.
