Endorse milk supply agreement or impact will hurt prices, says Dairygold

Failure to endorse Dairygold’s milk supply agreement would have a significant negative impact on milk price, the co-op has warned its suppliers.

Dairygold is urging its members to attend its joint AGM and SGM in the Power Store on its Mallow site on Apr 11, and to endorse the milk supply agreement and, consequently, the society’s post-2015 expansion plan.

The Cork-based co-op said a positive vote from the annual and special meetings is vital for all active farmers, including those who want to expand milk production from 2015, when the quota restriction ends.
