Tenders out for water meters

Bord Gáis has put out tenders for one million water meters, which will be provided over the next few years.

Also, the semi-state has tendered for three management companies to oversee the installation of the water meters.

Last week, the Department of the Environment put up an e-tender to invite applications for subcontractors throughout the country to install the water meters.
