Eurozone markets on the slide

Markets across the eurozone slipped yesterday.

A meeting of European finance ministers and IMF officials is still attempting to resolve the Greek bailout.

The Iseq index was in line with the rest of Europe and fell 12.99 points to close on 3,250.76.

It was a mixed day for the Irish financials with AIB losing 0.01c to close on 5.1c.

Bank of Ireland closed on 9.9c adding 0.01c, while Permanent TSB Group was flat at 2.2c amid low volumes.

Insurer FBD Holdings continued its good run closing on €10.25 adding a further 15c.

Construction stocks were more active and mirrored the overall Index.

CRH was down 22c to close on €13.77, Grafton Group lost 9c to finish at €3.66, while Kingspan bucked the trend adding a cent to finish on €7.96.
