‘No jobs market growth until 2014’

The economy has added 20,000 jobs this year with just over one third coming from IDA-backed companies.

However, it will be 2014 before the jobs market starts showing any sign of growth again, according to a new report by the employers’ group Ibec.

Moreover, the report finds that this year will be another one of falling growth, although the jobs market will stabilise next year as the rate of decline in the domestic economy slows.
