The Iseq closed up 12.07 points yesterday at 3,262.51 as the news of the German Constitutional Court’s movements to endorse provisions for the European Stability Mechanism are digested.

Main movers in Dublin included Kerry Group which advanced 86c to €37.50 and DCC which rose 60c to €22.

There was minimal activity with financial stocks. AIB was static at 5c while Bank of Ireland had a similar quiet day resting at 10c.

Elsewhere, pharmaceutical firm Elan fell 15c to €8.30, CPL Resources declined 10c to €3.25. And Aryzta declined 14c to €39.85 while Smurfit Kappa decreased 17c to €7.03.
