‘Extremely proud’ Dawn Meats first M&S supplier to get gold standard

Waterford-based Dawn Meats has received a ringing endorsement at the recent Marks & Spencer Food Supplier Conference when it was given an award for ‘doing the right thing’.

Dawn Meats is the first Marks and Spencer’s supplier to achieve a gold standard in the scorecard process. Dawn Meats chief executive Niall Browne said the company was extremely proud to be the first supplier to win the award.

“We are extremely proud to receive this award and being the first supplier to get to gold with Marks and Spencer, not only for food but from the entire supply base is a fantastic achievement. This recognition is testament to the commitment and passion of the Dawn Meats team who have worked extremely hard over the past two years to achieve this significant milestone with Marks and Spencer”.
