Dunphy scores with media firm

Accumulated profits at the media firm owned by football pundit, Eamon Dunphy last year topped €500,000, latest figures show.

Accounts just filed by Dunphy’s Mac Consultants Ltd show that the firm’s accumulated profits totalled €500,233, at the end of December, up €52,462 from €447,771 a year earlier.

Mr Dunphy, 66, has had a long career in journalism after retiring from professional football. The former Irish international is one of the top earners at RTÉ.
