Market falls in line with peers

The Iseq Index began the week in the red in line with other European bourses in anticipation of the latest EU summit to be held later this week.

Market falls in line with peers

The benchmark index of Irish shares dropped 21.95 points to 3,061.63.

Financial stocks were generally weaker with Bank of Ireland dropping 0.3c to 9c and Permanent TSB Group also losing ground down 0.1c to 2.5c. AIB held its own resting at 6.7c. Insurance group FBD Holdings declined by 12c to €8.08.
