Dairy farmers invited to compete for €40,000 discussion group prize fund
The Dairy Discussion Group Project 2012, sponsored by ACCBank, ICBF, Teagasc and the Irish Farmers Journal, will reward dairy discussion groups who engage in specified projects in 2012. Two types of projects are envisaged: breeding and heifer-rearing projects and innovation projects.
The innovation fund is for four prizes of €5,000 each. Submissions will be accepted in process development, tailored training/knowledge transfer, group adoption of research proven practice, software development or study trip. The innovation closing date is January 27.
