Pay hikes at two pharma firms

Allergan has agreed a deal with SIPTU for 5% over three years, but with a pay pause for the 12 months of 2011.

Ranbaxy had also paid both phases of the Transitional Agreement, as well as an extra 1% on top of the 3.5% first phase increase. The Transitional Agreement expired at Ranbaxy in December 2010 and the new pay deal follows straight on, with no period of pay pause.
