Trend Micro leading the fight against cybercrime

A CORK-based security software company is to help a new international federation combat cybercrime, it was announced yesterday.

Trend Micro is a member of International Cyber Security Protection Alliance (ICSPA), which will form a strategic partnership with Europol, the European law enforcement agency.

Trend Micro is joined by seven other founder members, including Visa Europe and McAfee, and the ICSPA will also be aided by governments as it seeks to crack down on cybercrime.
