IMI and UCC alliance will ‘transform business education here’, says Kenny

TAOISEACH Enda Kenny announced yesterday that the Irish Management Institute (IMI) and UCC have agreed an alliance that will “transform business education in Ireland”.

The agreement yesterday stopped short of a full merger which has been the subject of talks going back to 2009.

Speaking in Dublin, Mr Kenny described the development as “significant and welcome as it has the potential to greatly improve the capacity of Ireland’s companies to compete internationally”.
