The Irish Farmers Association leader has called on Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney to move immediately to open the scheme as the mid-May deadline for the Single Farm Payment is fast approaching.

John Bryan said along with REPS, the AEOS has proved to be value for money, both in supporting the rural economy and jobs, and improving the environment.
