Genesis to recruit new entrepreneurs

Cork: The Genesis Enterprise Programme, based at Cork Institute of Technology’s Rubicon Centre, which helps entrepreneurs develop ideas into real exporting businesses, is now recruiting for its 2011/12 programme, which begins in May.

Now in its 14th year, Genesis has helped more than 180 entrepreneurs get their businesses off the ground. More than 70% of the start-up businesses that emerged from the programme are in operation five years on, employing more than 1,200 people in the south-west.

The closing date for applications is April 8.
