Kentz secures €25.5m refinery deal

KENTZ Corporation, founded in Clonmel in 1919 has secured a $35 million (€25.5m) contract from the National Petroleum Refiners of South Africa (Natref).

The Natref Crude Refinery in Sasolburg, is a joint venture between Sasol Mining (Pty) Ltd and Total South Africa (Pty) Ltd and is the only inland crude refinery in South Africa.

Commissioned in 1971, it incorporated leading technology to process majority white products including diesel, petrol, jet fuel and liquefied petroleum gas from medium gravity crude oil.
