Dublin: UCD Quinn School of Business has launched an innovative new BComm curriculum.

The new curriculum, which will be implemented in September 2011, aims to cultivate students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities. It was developed following consultation with a diverse range of groups, including academics, business leaders, employers, careers advisors and students.

Speaking at the launch, Dr Michael MacDonnell, Director, UCD Quinn School, said: “Never before have people asked more questions of business people. The business leaders of tomorrow need to be problem solvers and analysers, visionaries and entrepreneurs. UCD Quinn School’s new commerce curriculum is designed to ensure that our graduates are equipped with the tools and competencies they need to succeed in today’s challenging business environment. Their career options are almost endless.”
