Letting in Dublin office market up
Key findings from their research indicated that letting activity in the capital office market reached over 46,000sq metres in Q4, bringing the annual total take-up in the Dublin office market to approximately 130,000sq m, a significant increase on what was anticipated at the beginning of 2010.
The letting to Bank of Ireland was both the largest letting in Q4 and of 2010.
According to CBRE’s initial estimates of letting activity in Q4, over half (59%) of take-up occurred the Dublin 2 and Dublin 4 districts, with at least 19 lettings signed there.
Major lettings signed in Q4 2010 include letting of 6,951sq m to the Bank of Ireland at Burlington Plaza, Dublin 4, and a letting of 5,486sq m to the Central Bank at Iveagh Court, Dublin 2.
