Jochumsen named FESE president

Brussels: The Federation of European Securities Exchanges, the trade group that represents the region’s bourses, named Nasdaq OMX Group’s Hans-Ole Jochumsen as president.

Jochumsen named FESE president

Jochumsen, Stockholm-based executive vice president of the second-largest US equity exchange, replaces Spyros Capralos, the former head of the Greek bourse. Deirdre Somers, chief executive officer of the Irish Stock Exchange, was named FESE vice-president, the trade group said. Both will take up their posts immediately and serve for two years.
