Senior Dunnes man moves to rival

ONE of Dunnes Stores most senior officials is set to make a controversial switch to the major firm’s closest rival.

Andrew Street, who until recently was the retail outlet’s chief operating officer, is to become chief executive of Superquinn early next month.

The decision to move to a major rival of his previous employer is expected to act as a further incentive for competitiveness within the already closely fought business sector.
