Figures to show growth of 1% as recession ends

According to a survey by Reuters among seven analysts, Ireland’s gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to have increased 1% in the first quarter of the year compared with the last quarter 2009.

This would be the first positive change in GDP versus the previous quarter since the first quarter of 2008, showing Ireland has technically exited recession.
