Market maintains recovery

THE ISEQ index added 25.09 points to end the week at 3,397. Hopes that an EU bailout for Greece is imminent helped stocks to gain. The euro also recovered some of the recent lost ground against the dollar.

Market maintains recovery

In the financial sector, AIB dipped 2c to €1.44. Bank of Ireland weakened 4c to €1.67. Irish Life & Permanent dropped 5c to €3.05, while insurance company FBD Holdings progressed 30c to €7.80.

In the construction sector, CRH gained 53c to €21.43. Kingspan was unchanged at €7.10, while Grafton Group continued its good run with a rise of 9.5c to €3.65.
