Double delights at Bandon show

CLARE exhibitor Tom Casey had an early showing season double at Bandon last Sunday, where he won the young horse and three-year-old horse championships.

The Kildysart man’s promising chestnut, Harley, which is by Harlequin du Careil out of a dam by Cruising, made a favourable impression on the judges.

Another double was achieved by Seamus Lehane, Ballymacowen, Clonakilty, Co Cork, who took the two-year-old and foal championships.
