Jameson toast top award success

JAMESON Rarest Vintage Reserve has been voted World Best Irish Blended Whiskey at the 2009 World Whiskey Awards.

Since its release in 2007 Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve has received numerous international accolades.

Jameson master distiller Barry Crockett said: “We are thrilled and honoured to receive these accolades.

This year’s competition saw more than 150 whiskies put through their paces during three rounds of tastings to win the coveted titles of Best in the World.

The judging panel included some of the most respected whiskey critics in the world, including Dave Broom, Dominic Roskrow and Martine Nouet.

Today Jameson is the world’s No 1 selling Irish whiskey and a top 10 global whiskey brand.
