BoI shares fall but AIB up

IT was Bank of Ireland’s turn to take a hit yesterday on a day AIB shares soared 26%.

The bank dropped 7.5% to 37 cent, while AIB jumped to 57c, regaining some of the massive losses it suffered earlier in the week.

Irish Life and Permanent also finished the day up 17% at €1.40, although the ISEQ closed the day down almost 1%.
