AER LINGUS has postponed a farewell dinner tomorrow for former chairman John Sharman, who stepped down in October.

The dinner was the subject of controversy recently when it emerged Minster for Transport Noel Dempsey said he would be unable to attend in light of details about Aer Lingus chief executive Dermot Mannion’s compensation package if the State airline was to be taken over.
