Two funds hit by Madoff scam

THE financial regulator said two funds based in the country have exposure to Bernard Madoff’s alleged investment scam.

“Both funds have suspended dealings with investors,” the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority said, without identifying the two pools. “A small number of other funds have indirect exposures.”
