European pensions scheme award

THE Irish Construction Workers’ Pension Scheme (CWPS) has been named as the best industry-wide pension scheme in Europe for 2008. At the recent IPE European Pension Fund Awards the CWPS was also named as the best Irish pension scheme for the third time.

This is the third time that CWPS has won the Irish award. It is Ireland’s biggest pension scheme with 250,000 members, including Irish and foreign workers. It manages a fund of €950m on behalf of its members.
