Concerns for Voice Newspaper Group

SPECULATION is rising over the future of the Voice Newspaper Group, which has its head office in Kilkenny.

Seven titles in the group have closed since the beginning of this year.

It is believed the Kilkenny Voice and the Tallaght Voice are the only two remaining titles in the group and that an independent audit of the group’s finances is being undertaken. Entrepreneur Niall Mellon is understood to be one of the group’s main backers.
