Ryanair opens Italian bases

RYANAIR is opening two new bases in Italy, basing three new aircraft at a cost of €160m in Alghero and Cagliari.

The new bases will create eight domestic and 11 international routes to and from Sardinia.

Ryanair also said it will increase frequency to five daily return flights on the Rome-Milan route and will add a new route with a twice daily Rome-Trapani service.
