THOUSANDS of airline passengers are not claiming their rights if flights are delayed or cancelled.

This is according to insurance firm DAS Group, which said consumers could be missing out on their entitlements if they do not know their rights when travelling.

Chief executive of DAS Group, Adrienne O’Sullivan said: “Being aware of the potential pitfalls you may encounter en route to your holiday destination, it is imperative to know your rights as a consumer when flying.”
