Swedish SCA to sell operations

SVENSKA CELLULOSA AB (SCA), Sweden’s largest tissue maker, said it will sell some packaging operations in Ireland and Britain to Spain’s Saica for £100 million (€126m) and close a container board mill to cut capacity.

Stockholm-based Svenska Cellulosa will focus on specialised packaging in Ireland and Britain after the transaction, it said.
