Prizes of €40,000 at Kingdom Fair

THE show season focus turns to Tralee tomorrow, when the 59th annual Kingdom County Fair takes place at Ballybeggan Racecourse.

Over €40,000 in prizes and trophies will be on offer for a wide range of showing classes. There will also be an extensive indoor and outdoor trade display.

The organisers, headed by chairman Robert Groves, got a big boost recently when their general secretary John Browne was elected national chairman of the Irish Shows Association.
