Mazda records 24% growth

MAZDA MOTOR IRELAND recorded a 24% fiscal growth for the period from April last year to March this year.

The group also recorded a record 24% year-on-year growth from January to March this year.

Mazda said that despite a slowing car market, which was down 23% in March this year, Mazda Motor Ireland posted strong growth of 560 units, culminating with 3002 units registered during the peak selling period of January to March this year.

Sales director Lewis Beale said: “We should continue to see healthy growth after the VRT changes in July.”
