Institute makes €153,490 surplus

THE Institute of Certified Public Accountants said it made an operating surplus of €153,490 in 2007.

The institute said in its annual report that it has reserves of €5.4 million.

“We are happy to report a robust financial position which gives the institute capacity to carry out its regulatory role and serve our growing membership,” said Brendan Allen, institute president.
