African Diamonds reports further loss

AFRICAN Diamonds has reported a widening of its interim pre-tax losses to €202,000 for the six months to the end of last December — up from a loss of €176,000 for the same period in 2006.

However, the company said yesterday its AK6 mine in Botswana is expected to be producing by the end of next year.
