Irish Examiner sales at 55,948 per day

THE latest Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) figures calculates the average daily sale of the Irish Examiner at 55,948 over the six months from July to December 2007.

Just 2.1% of the Irish Examiner’s daily sale comprise bulk sales. Bulk sales are copies bought at discount by third parties, such as hotels, which are usually given away free.

The latest figures show that 97.9% of the Irish Examiner’s circulation is directly purchased by loyal readers who make a conscious decision everyday to purchase the newspaper.
